The town of Neuchâtel has an extensive range of health services, especially by having two hospitals at its disposal: Hôpital-Ne Pourtalès and La Providence.

The canton’s health service organisation, operating under the name of HNE, Neuchâtel Hospital, now controls the regrouping of the health service network of the whole canton, of which the hospitals of La-Chaux-de-Fonds, Le Locle, La Béroche, Landeyeux, Couvet, Pourtalès and La Chrysalide are a part.
