The Police services
The reception of the police station greets every citizen having questions about the “blue zone discs”, authorizations to drive in the pedestrian precinct after the legal period or identification discs for dogs, lost properties and every other complaint. 

The Urban brigade is in charge of the prevention concerning roads or theft. This “proximity police” has direct contact to the main players in the town centre.

The Road service delivers authorizations and manages requests concerning for instance demonstrations, markets, etc.  

The police is made up of five patrol units and several traffic units. 

The Signal service is in charge of the roadsigns and works. The Taxi service deals with the authorizations for taxis. 

Every year, the Police is in charge of the complete education of policemen and policewomen in collaboration with the cantonal police.
